They are looking for an experienced controlling professional to take on a senior business partnering role, supporting key business units and leading a small team. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary finance business partner for your business unit, driving economic performance and serving as the first point of contact for all results-related matters. Lead and develop a team of 2–5 direct reports in a collaborative, high-performing environment. Deliver monthly performance analysis, identifying variances, risks and opportunities, and translating these into clear management recommendations. Oversee revenue, cost and profit analyses, budget-versus-actual comparisons and ad hoc reporting to ensure full transparency across the business area. Lead the annual planning cycle, produce rolling forecasts and contribute to strategic and investment decisions. Continuously improve controlling tools and reporting processes using modern BI platforms. Your Profile: Solid experience in controlling or finance business partnering, ideally within a software, technology or similarly fast-moving environment. Degree in economics, finance or accounting, or a commercial qualification with specialist controlling training. Experience in R&D or project controlling is an advantage; prior team leadership experience or a clear appetite for people management is welcome. Confident user of BI tools and ERP systems; SAP experience beneficial, Tagetik knowledge a plus. Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and fluency in German and English. Head of Tax Governance Location: Frankfurt Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Tax Governance to take ownership of group-wide tax compliance, risk management, and internal controls across a large, complex international organisation. This is a senior leadership role with broad cross-functional exposure and direct engagement with CFO and board-level stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Own and develop the Tax Compliance Management System (TaxCMS) in accordance with IDW PS 980, including risk analysis, reporting, and rollout across group companies. Build and maintain global tax risk profiles and deliver semi-annual risk reporting to the GRC Committee, CFO, and Global Head of Tax. Define and monitor group-wide key controls (ICS) and lead special audits (ISAE 3000, Public CbCR, IDW PS 980). Manage tax disputes, legal cases, and compliance violations, including criminal investigations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, HR, and Risk Management; represent Group Tax in major projects (e.g. Pillar 2, S/4HANA). Maintain tax guidelines and manuals, deliver training, and ensure MDR/DAC6 compliance. Manage external consultants, oversee budget and quality assurance, and lead the team. Your Profile Degree in taxation; Steuerberater qualification or equivalent strongly preferred. Several years of management experience, including board/CFO-level stakeholder engagement. Strong knowledge of national and international tax law. Experience developing tax risk management systems and internal control frameworks. Familiarity with tax criminal investigations, special audits, and legal case management. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Responsibilities: Lead centralised controlling for 20+ business units in a matrix structure. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance aligned with strategic goals. Analyse variances and coordinate corrective actions with functional teams. Deliver high-quality reporting and actionable financial insights. Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalisation with data teams. Act as main contact for functional controlling, ensuring alignment with senior leadership. Your Profile: Degree in business, health economics, or related field. 5+ years’ controlling experience, ideally in healthcare or complex corporate environments. Strong skills in cost control, KPI tracking, IC accounting, and financial close processes. Analytical, strategic thinker with transformation experience. Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills. Proficient in SAP, Excel (Power Query/VBA), PowerPoint; Power BI or coding skills a plus.
