If You Thrive Without a Handbook, This Is Worth Reading

The Opportunity

Our client is a pan-European manufacturing business looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to take ownership of their CEE legal workstreams, with a particular focus on Germany and Poland. This is a role for someone who wants to run matters independently, not wait for sign-off at every turn.

If you're a senior associate who's quietly wondered what it would feel like to own the outcome rather than the advice, this is a serious opportunity to find out.

The Role

You'll cover the full breadth of legal work across the EMEA region, with a CEE emphasis. That means varied work, fast-moving priorities, and the expectation that you'll get on with it. No micromanagement. No committee decisions on matters you're perfectly qualified to resolve yourself.

The business moves at pace. You'll need to match it. In return, you'll have genuine autonomy, direct access to the business, and the kind of variety that simply isn't available in private practice.

The Company

An established manufacturing business with a significant European footprint. The legal function is lean, which means your work has visibility and your judgement is trusted from day one.

What You'll Need

  • German qualification, with strong standing at senior associate level or above
  • Fluent English and German
  • Polish language skills and/or meaningful Poland-facing experience, ideally both
  • The confidence to own workstreams end-to-end without close supervision
  • A practical, commercial mindset — you find solutions, not reasons to escalate

How to Apply
