Senior Legal Counsel Location: Stockholm, Sweden Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to act as a trusted legal advisor to a diverse, multi-entity business with both local and international operations. You will support commercial activity and operational functions by delivering pragmatic, business-focused legal advice across a broad range of matters. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review and negotiate tenders, commercial contracts and customer agreements. Support commercial negotiations and advise on contractual risk. Review and negotiate distribution, OEM, system integrator agreements. Develop, maintain and update contract templates and terms and conditions. Provide support on pre-litigation matters, claims and dispute resolution. Coordinate and oversee litigation, representing the organisation before courts, authorities and other bodies where required. Advise management and business units on legal matters, including the impact of existing and upcoming regulations. Ensure compliance with applicable Swedish, EU and internal policy requirements. Support real estate-related matters and employment law issues at a local level. Deliver legal and compliance training to management and business teams. Manage external legal counsel and ensure effective representation of the organisation’s interests. Requirements: Law degree with qualification to practise as a lawyer in Sweden. Relevant experience gained in a law firm or in-house legal role, ideally within construction, energy or renewable sectors. Strong understanding of in-house legal operations, with the ability to identify key business risks and provide practical, solution-oriented advice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. A structured, analytical and results-driven working style.
