What you bring You are strategic, hands-on, and experienced in HR leadership: University degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline. 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally from consultancy, venture capital/private equity, or a dynamic start-up/scale-up. Proven track record in HR leadership with a focus on execution, structure, and results. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work hands-on when required. Fluent in German and English. Risk and ICS Manager Location: Munich, Germany Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk and ICS Manager to support and strengthen their internal control system and risk management framework in line with group and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance the internal control system (ICS), including operational, compliance, and MaRisk-related controls. Conduct risk assessments (inherent and residual), document control activities, and propose improvements. Monitor implementation of corrective actions and support process optimisation. Support risk identification, including ESG risks, and assist in developing risk measurement tools. Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., MaRisk), maintain documentation, and contribute to strategy updates. Coordinate with group risk functions and provide regular/ad hoc reporting. Support internal and external audits, data quality initiatives, and cross-functional risk topics. Requirements: University degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in risk management, ICS, compliance, or audit. Understanding of corporate and regulatory risk frameworks (e.g., MaRisk). Experience in financial services, banking, or leasing preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Fluent in German; proficient in business English. Reliable, independent, and structured working style with high professional integrity.
