Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis
Location: Frankfurt / Hybrid

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager Management Reporting to support global financial planning, reporting and performance management activities within an international environment. This role focuses on financial analysis, reporting processes and cross-functional collaboration across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with international finance and business stakeholders to align reporting standards and processes.
  • Drive process optimisation, reporting improvements and finance-related transformation initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of financial planning and reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance requirements and accounting standards.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and strategic decision-making activities.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience within financial reporting, controlling or finance business partnering environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and financial governance requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools, ideally SAP.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style.
  • Fluent English language skills; additional languages would be advantageous.

Die Aufgaben Sie unterstützen die Einkaufsleitung bei der Festlegung strategischer und operativer Ziele, verfolgen den Fortschritt und empfehlen Korrekturmaßnahmen, wenn Abweichungen entstehen. Sie nehmen direkt an Einkaufsentscheidungen teil, statt sie nur im Nachhinein zu berichten. Im Bereich Controlling erstellen Sie standort- und kategorieübergreifende Analysen, legen Standards und Methodik für das Purchasing Controlling fest und fungieren als zentrale Ansprechperson für Analytics und Self-Service-Reporting. Sie definieren und überwachen KPIs gemeinsam mit der Führungsebene, validieren Einkaufseinsparungen und setzen Daten ein, um Entscheidungen zu hinterfragen, wenn die Zahlen nicht stimmen. Sie verantworten außerdem die finanzielle Steuerung der Einkaufsfunktion: Überwachung von Personal- und Betriebskosten, Einhaltung von Budgets, Erkennung von Abweichungen sowie Unterstützung bei der Jahresbudgetierung und dem Forecasting. Darüber hinaus treiben Sie Initiativen zur Kostenwettbewerbsfähigkeit voran, entwickeln Dashboards und KPI-Systeme, führen Rentabilitätsanalysen und Benchmarkings durch und monitoren Working-Capital-Verbesserungen in Lagerbestand und Lieferantenzahlungsperformance. Sie unterstützen den Head of Central Procurement direkt in Governance-Fragen: Definition von KPI-Rahmenwerken, Benchmarking der Einkaufsorganisation, Nachverfolgung von Governance-Initiativen und Vorbereitung von Unterlagen für das Top-Management. Sie arbeiten eng mit dem Head of Central Procurement, dem CFO, der Betriebsleitung, Geschäftsbereichsverantwortlichen und der Logistik zusammen.
