Legal Counsel - IT Law Location: Bonn Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel specialising in IT law to support large-scale IT projects in a fast-paced international setting. In this role you will advise on technology contracts, public procurement, and IP matters while working closely with project teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on IT and IP law, general civil law, and public procurement (tender) regulations. Support and negotiate contracts related to large-scale software development and implementation projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage legal risks and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles. Apply practical project management skills to align legal strategies with business objectives. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of IT-related agreements and procurement documentation. Assist with dispute resolution and support regulatory compliance in IT procurement and licensing. Your Profile: Qualified lawyer with strong legal exam results. 8+ years’ experience in IT projects, combining law firm and in-house legal backgrounds. Expertise in IT law, intellectual property, public procurement law, and general civil law. Practical knowledge of large-scale IT project environments, including software development and implementation. Business fluent in English, with an LL.M. or equivalent experience in English-speaking environments. Strong communication, negotiation, and project collaboration skills. Compliance Manager EU Location: Frankfurt Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to join a dynamic compliance team supporting the development and execution of regulatory compliance strategies. This role plays a key part in fostering a strong compliance culture and ensuring alignment with evolving legal frameworks across the EU. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies, manuals, and procedures. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business. Oversee compliance with prudential regulations and outsourcing policies. Deliver training and raise awareness of compliance obligations across the organisation. Prepare regular reports for executive and supervisory boards. Continuously build compliance expertise through professional development. Your Profile: Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, risk management, audit, consultancy, or financial supervision. Strong knowledge of German and EU regulations (e.g., MaComp, MaRisk, MiFID, MAR). Advanced data analysis skills (pivot tables, databases, statistical methods). Legal Counsel - Contract Law Location: Oldenburg A role that inspires you Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with strong expertise in contract law to support a broad range of commercial and technical projects. In this key advisory role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders, provide guidance on complex contractual matters, and help shape a modern, consistent contract landscape. Key Responsibilities Advise on major engineering and construction projects throughout bidding, negotiation, and contract execution. Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and service providers. Work closely with teams such as procurement, warranty, claims, and quality management. Streamline, update, and harmonise existing contract templates and frameworks. Support confidentiality matters, cooperation agreements, and offshore project requirements. Identify and assess legal risks, manage claims, and coordinate dispute resolution or litigation with external counsel. Monitor legal developments and propose updates to internal policies and contractual standards. Your Profile Qualified lawyer (fully qualified, LL.M., or comparable). At least 4 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, ideally within an industrial or technical sector. Strong background in contract law; exposure to shipbuilding, construction, or manufacturing is a plus. Skilled in claims management, dispute resolution, and regulatory topics. Confident communicator and negotiator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
