Privacy Counsel Location: Nuremberg A role that inspires you Our client is seeking a Privacy Counsel to shape privacy strategy across digital, e-commerce, AI, and customer experience initiatives. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, enabling innovation while ensuring responsible and compliant use of personal data in a complex international environment. Key Responsibilities: Advise business stakeholders on privacy and data protection matters, particularly in e-commerce, marketing, analytics, and AI-driven projects. Align privacy priorities with business objectives, balancing risk and innovation. Provide practical, scalable guidance on GDPR and related global data protection regulations. Conduct and oversee Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Draft and negotiate privacy-related agreements and contractual clauses. Support stakeholders in handling data breaches and consumer complaints. Contribute to the development of global privacy frameworks and governance standards. Enable compliant and responsible use of emerging technologies. Your Profile: Fully qualified lawyer. At least 5 years’ experience advising on privacy compliance in an international corporate or law firm environment. Strong expertise in GDPR; knowledge of AI and cybersecurity regulations is an advantage. Experience in technology, digital, or e-commerce environments is beneficial. Proven track record in implementing privacy requirements in complex business settings. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate legal complexity into practical guidance. Expert Legal Counsel Location: Berlin A PE-backed software business at an exciting inflection point is looking for an Expert Legal Counsel to join their lean, high-performing Legal team. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will play a key part in a significant upcoming corporate transaction, drive M&A workstreams, and provide broad commercial legal support across the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead on a significant corporate transaction - assessing current documentation, identifying gaps, and managing due diligence workstreams. Collaborate closely with external counsel on M&A and corporate transactional matters. Lead on corporate governance and corporate housekeeping activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and exit-ready. Support day-to-day commercial legal requests through an internal ticketing system, covering a broad range of legal matters. Work cross-jurisdictionally, applying strong knowledge of either English Common Law. Requirements: 6+ years of post-qualification experience with a strong Corporate / M&A background. Qualified in either England & Wales or Germany. Fluent in both German and English - essential. Proven transactional experience, ideally within a PE-backed or exit environment. Strong corporate governance expertise with the ability to manage housekeeping independently. Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor within a small, agile team.
